Clos du Mont Olivet
Clos du Mont Olivet was formed by the Sabon family in 1932. After World War Two they decided to start bottling and selling their wine from the domaine not through negociants. Still in the family, they are run by four siblings, making some of the finest Chateauneuf du Papes and some fabulous Cote du Rhones in a traditional style.

Silky and seamless on the palate, with a bracing minerality adding punch to its sweet red fruit and floral pastille qualities. Finishes spicy and very long, with lingering red fruit and floral notes. This wine virtually always delivers the most bang for the buck of any Chateauneuf tete de cuvee and this vintage continues that streak. |
