James Suckling (93-94)A solid Pedesclaux for the vintage, with lots of blackcurrant and blueberry aromas and flavors. Full-bodied with medium-chewy tannins and a round texture. Racy and structured. Solid. 64% cabernet sauvignon, 27% merlot, 6% cabernet franc and 3% petit verdot. |

James Suckling (95-96)There is a really pretty, powdery-tannin texture to this, with dark-berry and currant character. Some orange peel, too. It’s full and layered with a sense of precision and focus. Framed and open-grained in the texture. Velvety. Real Pauillac personality here. 70% cabernet sauvignon, 20% merlot and 10% cabernet franc. May be better than 2022. |

Bordeaux | 28 | 85 (VN (AG)) | $298.00
Vinous - Antonio Galloni (85)The 2015 Fleur de Pédesclaux is a soft, fruity wine to drink now and over the next few year. Succulent red berry fruit and soft contours add to the wine's considerable near-term appeal. |

Vinous - Neal Martin (90)The 2016 Fleur de Pédesclaux has a generous, rounded bouquet of wild strawberry and blackberry fruit mixed with briar and tobacco aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with a pastille-like purity on the entry, displaying fine tannin and light grip but offering ebullient red berry fruit on the detailed finish. This is impressive for a second wine and will probably drink well after a couple of years. |

Bordeaux | 24 | 88 (VN (NM)) | $132.00
Vinous - Neal Martin (88)The 2020 Fleur de Pédesclaux has a more open-knit bouquet than I anticipated with vanillary red fruit and crushed strawberry scents. The palate is medium-bodied with a pleasant sappiness on the entry, fine acidity, cohesive with quite an elegant, pure finish. This is a very commendable Deuxième Vin that surpasses my expectation from barrel. |
