The 2016 Barolo Cannubi is ample and generous, with terrific textural resonance and breadth. Ripe dark cherry, plum, spice, licorice, new leather and menthol all flesh out in a supple, racy Barolo loaded with class and personality. The 2016 is rich, sensual and wonderfully inviting.$1,035.00 -

Intensely fragrant, this boasts enticing floral scents of rose and iris that mingle with red berry and camphor. Featuring a heady combintion of finesse, structure and accessabilty, the smooth, delicious palate delivers crushed raspberry, strawberry compote and star anise alongside a backbone of polished tannins.$332.00 -

Taking a deeper shade of ruby red, the 2020 Barolo Cannubi is expressive on the nose, with ripe red cherries, a hint of cola spice, pressed roses, and fresh rosemary. Medium-bodied, it has very nice, even balance on the palate, with refined tannins and even acidity leading into a savory and earthy finish. It’s very nicely detailed and will do well over the next 12-15 years.$358.00 -

Coming from Verduno, the 2020 Barolo Monvigliero is a bright red/ruby color and offers an expressive, rosy perfume of cranberries, dusty earth, and delicate spices. Medium-bodied, it’s very elegant and graceful on the palate’ with fine tannins, clean, evenly balanced acidity, and a nicely tapered finish. It’s quite appealing now but should have a solid 6-8 years ahead of it.$362.00
