It then reveals attractive blackberry, briary and light black truffle scents; with further aeration, more red fruit manifests. The palate is well balanced, lithe and pliant with supple tannins and well-integrated oak. Lovely orange pith notes develop toward the harmonious finish, which feels long and tender. This La Cabanne has turned out nicely and should drink well for 15–20 years. |
