Harlan Estate
Harlan Estate is has an abundance of character, set in between wild woodlands and beautiful open valley, it is an inspiring place to make wine. They aim to produce a California ‘first growth’ in the hills of Oakville by capturing what the land has to offer. They produce great Bordeaux style blends.

The brightness and vivid fruit character here is so very impressive. Medium to full body. Firm and silky tannins. Extremely long and linear with a gorgeous finish. I can’t wait on this. Drink or hold.$1,760.00 -
(3x75cl) 2017Vinous (93)
The 2017 The Maiden is a deep, super-expressive wine. I am quite surprised by how rich the 2017 is, given a year in which many wines are on the lighter side. Dark red cherry and red plum fruit is front and center. There is some nervousness in the tannin so, even though The Maiden is the second wine of Harlan Estate, it needs at least a few years in bottle. This is a terrific showing.$1,790.00 -

The 2019 The Maiden is gorgeous. Creamy, ample and expressive, the Maiden is a terrific introduction to the year. Succulent dark cherry, plum, chocolate, spice, leather, menthol fill out the layers beautifully. Medium in body, with gorgeous up-front fruit and radiance$1,100.00
